How to Put Your Name on Your Pickleball Paddle

Why do you want to put your name on your paddle? Because in most open play situation, there will be a paddle rack based rotation system. Someone will pick up a paddle and yell “Who’s paddle is this? Your are Next!”

Sharpie

Cheapest fastest way: Write your name with a sharpie on the edge of your paddle. White or Silver Sharpies works best

Sharpie on a piece of electric tape

Slightly more non destructive way. Put a piece of electrician tape on the edge and write on the tape. You should put electrician tape on the top edge of your paddle to protect it from scrapes anyway.

Paddle Bands

These are cool way to personalize your paddles. There are a few companies now do sell these. I use these: MyPadL (this is an affiliated link).

  • put my name on the paddle, either with a band, or a tag, or just sharpie the name onto the electrical tape

Overgrip
