I have this collection of articles on the web that is worth reading -- I don't necessary agree with them, but it is thought provoking nevertheless. It is time to try putting them all in one place, so here we go:
- elegant Hack, IA information
- Black Belt Jones has a good list of links on web design and design
- Richard P. Gabriel's Essays, he is well know for the Worse is Better set of articles
- Is Extreme programming Wacko?
- I normally disagree wth Jakob Nielsen, but he has a good pointer list for how to write for the web, so go read it
- Keeping a log book
- William Gibson's writing
- Taste
- Meng Wong home page has very interesting format, and lots of good reading links.
- Boxes and Arrows, design
- Unix Haters Handbook
- A series of interviews with Andy Hunt and Dave Thomas, the guys who wrote the book The Pragmatic Programmer. Some good advice on professional programming -- but read the interview carefully. What they are saying is very true, but you have to read into the details and truly understand what is said.
- EWD manuscripts online.
